Crazy couple of days in Hugo

Hey everyone.  You have probably already seen the footage on the news and heard many of the stories, but to see it in person was unbelievable.  I just got back from a Town Meeting where I had the chance to chat with several Eagle Brookers that have been affected by the tornado that went through on Sunday.  Many lost there homes (50+ were totaled), most of the rest of Hugo (including my wife and I) have damaged homes, but none of these situations compare to the Prindle family.  This Eagle Brook family lost their two year-old son, Nathaniel to the storm.  A few of our pastors, including Pastor Bob, spent time with the family yesterday and today.  They are doing as well as can be expected.  Please continue to pray for the Prindle family, several other Eagle Brook families, and hundreds of others in this community who have been devastated.  I am so glad that our hope is in Him, because without that hope I just don’t know how people make it.

We have been working with the city of Hugo to determine the next steps for us as a church.  These will be decided in the next couple of days and we will communicate how you can best help.

Do you have a personal story from the last couple of days?  Do you have any thoughts in regards to any of the families involved?
